An Earth Day event wouldn’t be the same without Klehm Arboretum and Botanic Gardens! They have amazing programs for families throughout the summer and they’ll be here to share all those details with you. PLUS they’ll have free saplings for the kids while supplies last.
Have sensitive documents you need to get rid of? We have you covered with Barbara Olson Center of Hope’s Super Shredders team! Protect your identity and your accounts, just drop those papers in the bins on the showroom floor from 10 ‘til 1 and you’re covered.
Pitching electronics in the landfill is a big no-no. Computer hard drives may contain sensitive information and all those wires and batteries slowly contaminate the ground. Midwest Recyclers to the rescue! Their truck will be here to collect pretty much everything with a cord that needs to go. Yep, they’ll take your old computers, monitors, laptops, phones, modems, vacuums, etc for FREE. There is a $37 recycling fee for TVs and a $3 fee for printers. Bring those old cell phones in too! As a “Cell Phones for Soldiers” partner, Midwest Recyclers puts your reconditioned phone into the hands of a soldier in need.
No need to worry about keeping the kiddos occupied while you get your recycling done. We have a special activity just for them too! They’ll have a chance to decorate a flower pot and plant their own sunflower seed. Oh, we have tunes and food lined up for ya too!
