Third Annual Let the Good Times Roll Car Show
You are invited to celebrate the third annual Let the Good Times Roll Car Show on Sunday, June 10th, 2023 from 10 AM to 2 PM. This is an upcoming car show that will celebrate the 70-plus years Lou Bachrodt has been in the Rockford, IL community.
Car shows are great events where car enthusiasts gather to admire each other’s vehicles. This show will feature over 100 of the best cars in the area. If you are proud of your ride, then this is the perfect opportunity to show it off!
The Let the Good Times Roll Car Show is free for spectators. For those who want to show off their car, you can register in advance for $15 or at the door for $20. Over 100 cars will be competing for 10 best-in-show spots and one fan-favorite bonus prize! The winner of the show will receive a cash prize of $500!
Spectators can learn about all kinds of new and vintage cars. Enjoy a DJ, entertainment, raffles, food, and more. Food trucks include Sabores Mobile Kitchen, Blaz’in Magic BBQ, and The Scoop. Bring the whole family out for a day of fun!
The car show is hosted by Lou Bachrodt Auto Mall and the Northern Illinois Corvette Club. You can expect to see plenty of Corvettes at the show. There will be time to chat with fellow car enthusiasts and discuss performance updates, modifications, and more. Let’s learn more about the cars that might be there.
Those interested in registering for this event can do so by emailing social@bachrodt.com for a registration form. The first 50 vehicles registered will receive a collector dash plaque and travel mug. Proceeds raised at this event will go towards local charities and helping veterans.
1940s Dodge Pick-up Truck
The Dodge Pick-up Truck first hit the market in 1923 and quickly became one of America’s most popular vehicles. These trucks featured a six-cylinder engine, a three-speed manual transmission, and a four-wheel drive system. The 1940 model included updates such as an improved suspension system, reinforced frame, and more powerful engine options. Pictured above is a mid-40s red Dodge Pick-Up truck.
1930 Ford Model A
The Ford Model A was first introduced in 1927 as a replacement for the iconic Model T. The 1930 model featured an updated four-cylinder engine with enhanced power, improved suspension, and a newly designed body style. This car was known for its reliability and affordability and quickly became one of America’s favorite vehicles.
2023 Chevrolet Corvette
The 2023 Chevrolet Corvette is the newest generation of this classic American sports car. It features a 6.2-liter V8 engine, capable of producing 495 horsepower and 470 lb.-ft. of torque, a redesigned exterior body style, an improved suspension system, and advanced technology such as active exhaust and rev match downshift technology.
